Students are introduced to the skills required of
legal researchers and use primary and
secondary sources to produce written
assignments. Students are given assignments
to research the law using appropriate sources
in the law library and report their findings in
writing assignments. Emphasis also placed on
discussions of issues of ethics including
confidentiality, conflict of interest, unauthorized
practice of law, and community funds. Students
