Improves record with two victories

The Bobcats (4-1) defeated Community College of Rhode Island with a score of 4-0 this past weekend at CNY Family SportsCentre. Steven Dowling (London, England) and Bryan Reyes (Brooklyn, NY) each scored two goals to help secure the Bobcats victory. The Bobcats (5-1) continued their winning ways as they soundly defeated Erie Community College with a score of 3-0 yesterday in Buffalo. Steven Dowling (London, England), Ermais Kidanu (Ethiopia) and Chris Van Leur (Sydney, Australia) each scored a goal in the victory. This weekend the men’s soccer team faces their biggest test of the year, as they travel to take on Mercer County Community College (8-1) ranked #2 in the NJCAA.

Record advances to 3-2-1

The Lady Bobcats defeated Nassau C.C.C. 2 – 1 this past Saturday. The Lady Bobcats were losing the game 1 – 0, but refused to give up. With approximately 30 minutes left in the game the Lady Bobcats were awarded a free kick which Avanell Isaac stepped up to take. She struck the ball beautifully, it hit off the cross bar and Jennifer Quintero calmly placed it into the back of the net. With five minutes left in the game Avanell Isaac ripped a shot from around 30 yards out and placed it perfectly into the upper right hand corner. The Lady Bobcats did play again Sunday afternoon against the C.C. of Rhode Island. Unfortunately they were not able to earn the same result. The Lady Bobcats fought the entire 90 minutes and are ready for another big game Saturday against one of their biggest rivals Monroe C.C.C. Game time is set for 1:00 pm @ Jones Rd.
