Bobcats (4-0) Defeat National Powerhouse Genesee CC

The Bryant & Stratton College men’s soccer team defeated Genesee Community College by a score of 3-1 yesterday. The Bobcats out shot the Cougars 27-12, while Carlos Cartagena, Lenoir Sery, and Yussuf Olajde scored the three goals to help secure the Bobcat’s fourth victory of the season! GCC Cougars, 2012 NJCAA National Champion runner up, was ranked 9th in the NJCAA coming into the game. This was an especially sweet victory for the Bobcats as they set their sights on their second national championship. Here’s a quick peak at what you missed if you didn’t go yesterday!
Next up, the men’s soccer team faces their biggest test of the year, as they take on Herkimer County Community College, ranked #1 in the NJCAA polls, and hold the 2012 NJCAA Division III National Champion title.
