Bobcats sweep weekend and remain UNDEFEATED in the USCAA

Syracuse, NY – The Bryant & Stratton College men’s soccer team flexed their muscles this past weekend with two huge victories over 4 year colleges in the USCAA. On Saturday, the Bobcats (3-0) struck early and often as they crushed Vermont Tech College 9-0. Sean Latimer scored 5 of the 9 goals in the victory. Coach Dimitrievski stated that, “It was good to get everyone some playing time as we get ready for ESF.” The Bobcats (4-0) rose to the challenge on Sunday as they soundly defeated ESF 5-0 who is a Top 20 ranked team in the USCAA. The Bobcats didn’t waste any time as Yussuf Olajide (Brooklyn, NY) scored the first goal within the first minute of play. Sean Latimer (England) scored 2 additional insurance goals to secure the victory. With only 4 games played, Latimer who is a 2013 NJCAA All-American has scored 14 of the 28 goals for the Bobcats this season. “I am very pleased with the results thus far,” coach Dimitrievski said. “These two victories have given our players valuable experience and preparation as we get ready to face West Virginia Tech who are the 2013 USCAA National Champions on Thursday. We will be ready!”
