Virginia Campuses Find a New Way to Deliver Diplomas
By B&SC News Team
With COVID changing everyone’s plans, it was important that the Bryant & Stratton College graduating class of 2020 didn’t miss out on celebrating commencement. So, our Virginia camusses swapped walking the stage with cruising through the parking lot in order to deliver diplomas this year.
Each Virginia campus – Virginia Beach, Hampton and Richmond – hosted their own respective drive-thru diploma pick-up this month. Graduates were able to see their favorite instructors and faculty members while picking up their diplomas and celebrating their awesome accomplishment.
Over 150 graduates showed up in style to participate in the events across Virginia. Grads snapped photos in their caps and gowns just like they would have at graduation, getting the send-off they deserved after all their hard work.
There were plenty of emotions on display from the students and faculty alike. At the end of the day, despite the unusual circumstances, every person left with a smile on their face.
