The campus features a number of computer, medical and nursing labs for an in-depth, hands-on student experience. Students pursuing the Nursing associate degree are sure to get the hands-on experience needed to enter the field.

Ready to pursue a career in nursing right now? Good news! Nursing students at the Akron campus are not required to petition or experience a wait list for enrollment into the nursing program. Immediate acceptance allows students to begin to take nursing classes in their first semester in the LPN and ADN programs. Take a quick look at the diploma, associate, and RN to BSN programs we offer.
For students without prior education or training, consider the efficient path our Practical Nursing Diploma program provides. In just 12 months, you can be ready to pass your certification and work as an LPN in a variety of healthcare settings.
If you want to earn your associate degree and become a Registered Nurse (RN), this 2-year nursing program can be the foundation of your success. This program combines knowledge to pass the NCLEX-RN exam with hands-on clinical learning to give you the confidence to thrive in nursing roles.
We also offer a convenient and flexible RN-to-BSN program for busy professionals already working as RNs. With your BSN, you can prepare for leadership roles in clinical or administrative-focused roles.
*Our nursing programs offer Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)-accredited nursing education. The RN to BSN program for baccalaureate degree is offered exclusively online in all states except NY and CA.
Nursing students at our Akron campus can benefit from additional on-campus resources, including our computer labs and learning resource center, are open and available for students on a daily basis. These on-campus resources include medical and nursing labs that provide students with in-depth and hands-on experience. These resources ensure that students receive additional guidance and support both in the classroom and beyond.
