This new infographic, entitled “11 Interview Tips to Help You Land the Position,” gives effective job interview tips for every phase of the process from preparation to follow up. Here’s what job seekers can expect to learn from this infographic:

  • How to properly research the company they’re interviewing with
  • A list of common interview questions to expect during the interview
  • How to make a good impression from appearance to punctuality
  • What to do following the interview

It’s important for applicants to know that they can improve their chances of being hired even after the interview. Sending a thank-you note is a great opportunity to communicate their interest in the job, which could potentially sway the employer in their favor. In fact, according to a survey by Career Builder, 22 percent of employers say that they’d be less likely to hire someone if they didn’t send a thank-you note after the interview.
