SYRACUSE, N.Y. (April 14, 2015) –On Saturday, April 18 at 11am, the next class of students is set to graduate from Bryant & Stratton College’s Downtown and North campus in Liverpool. Nearly 300 students from throughout Syracuse and Central New York will receive their associate’s and bachelor’s degrees during the Bryant & Stratton College’s 90th Annual Commencement. The commencement speaker is Congressman John Katko. Congressman Katko is a former federal prosecutor and Onondaga County native. He graduated cum laude from both Niagara University and Syracuse University College of Law where he was Associate Editor of the Law Review. He has had an impressive career where he has worked at a prestigious Washington D.C.-based law firm, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice, before returning back to Central New York to work for the U.S Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of NY. Congressman Katko was elected to Congress for the New York’s 24th District in November 2014.

The North campus has selected Nancy Moor as their student speaker. Nancy holds an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration. Nancy currently works at Bright Path Counseling Center in North Syracuse where she did her internship.
This year’s students will graduate from associate degree programs in a variety of fields including accounting, business, criminal justice, medical assisting, network technology, graphic design and hospitality as well as a bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration. As part of the curriculum, students are required to participate in a semester-long internship in their field.
