Frequently Asked Questions

Each program through continuing education varies in price based on the length and format of the program. Programs can cost as little as $59.00 and as much as $8,300. The Continuing Education team at your campus will identify the cost of the program you wish to take and the payment options available to you.

No, continuing education programs at Bryant & Stratton College are not eligible for federal funding through sources such as the Pell Grant or other aid which would be applied for through the FAFSA application.

However, Bryant & Stratton College offers a number of payment options for students to utilize. Your personal continuing education advisor will assist in identifying the various forms of funding available for you to use in order to pay for your program.

All online classes are held in a state-of-the-art learning management system (LMS). Within the LMS, you can take quizzes, tests, and surveys, download course related materials, submit assignments electronically, view your grades, participate in weekly class discussions and communicate with both your instructor and classmates.

Yes. All books are included in the cost of the certificate program you’re taking.

Campus-based programs are available for enrollment on a rolling basis, giving you the opportunity to enroll as often as the courses are offered. Online courses follow specific start dates. To learn when the next start date is for online learning, contact us today.

Each program is paid for based on the course offerings. Not all courses and programs are eligible for payment plans but students need to pay for courses in full even if they stop attending.

No, refunds are not available for Bryant & Stratton College certificates. Students of Continuing Education must be at least 18 years of age and meet the minimal standards to participate in the certificate program. Students are not matriculated as a Bryant & Stratton Student and privileges as a degree student do not apply. No refunds will be returned from a signed contract.

No. Non-credit courses do not generate a 1098T forms. For more information on the 1098t form please refer to the IRS website

In accordance with the following IRS guideline:

Instructions for Forms 1098-E and 1098-T: published by the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, state “You do not have to file Form 1098-T or furnish a statement for: Courses for which no academic credit is offered, even if the student is otherwise enrolled in a degree program…”

Continuing Education courses vary in length from one-to-six class programs. The shortest offerings are one-day courses while other programs take up to eight months. Your continuing education advisor can provide you with the exact length of the program you wish to register for.

Taking a break from your classes puts you at risk of not completing your certificate in a timely manner. If you need to take a break, it must be approved by the CE Manager. If you do take a break from classes your payment continues.

If you do not pass a course you will need to retake the course. Both on campus and online students will be required to pay to retake a class.

The courses offered by the continuing education department are non-credit bearing and therefore are not transferable to another school. However, some programs offered by continuing education can be transferred to a corresponding degree program with Bryant & Stratton College.

All instructors at Bryant & Stratton College are subject matter experts who not only have a degree but currently work in the field of study they’re teaching.

Bryant & Stratton College does not offer job placement to graduates of our degree or continuing education programs. Online certificate students do have the ability to obtain resume assistance and job search tips.

A certificate of completion is a course or a series of courses with a specific focus or outcome. A certification requires education, experience and an exam. Also, certification requires recertification through continuing education.
