Bryant & Stratton College Hosts Everest Institute Students for Transfer Information Day
By B&SC News Team
ROCHESTER, NY (April 29, 2015) – In response to the recent closing of Everest Institute, Bryant & Stratton College (BSC) is rallying to lend support to over 300 students that have been impacted. The unexpected school closing Monday has left many students confused about their educational options and concerned about their ability to fulfill their career aspirations. This week, BSC joined a variety of institutions at a college fair hosted at Everest’s campus on Portland Avenue. The event was designed to provide information to the students on their choices and most importantly help define a clear path forward. While understandably emotional, many students expressed appreciation for all the support they are receiving during this challenging time.
In an effort to provide effective and timely support to these students, BSC will be hosting an Everest Institute Transfer Information Day at both their Greece and Henrietta campus locations on Thursday, April 30. Sessions will be running between 10am-7pm with the intent to provide students a college overview and answer questions relating to credit transferability, financial aid and job search assistance – based on a student’s individual circumstance. The College is expecting over 80 former Everest students and pleased to be able to provide the opportunity to seamlessly keep students on track to achieving their academic and career goals. BSC’s upcoming semester begins on May 6th.
